NINJATRADER Connectivity error messages

The most frequent NinjaTrader & Zen-Fire error messages and resolutions are listed below::

'Login Failed. Please Check your Internet Connection or Account Settings'
'Unable to Contact Ninja License Servers...Please Enter Your Backdoor Code'
'Login Failed: Unable to login (10001)'
'Login Failed: Unable to login (10004)'
'Login Failed: Unable to login (20051)'

 

Login Failed. Please Check Your Internet Connection or Account Settings: If the Internet connection is live, the error indicates a typo in the user id or password. The user id and password are case sensitive and white spaces count as characters. Make sure the user id and password are correct and there are no blank spaces at the beginning or end. White spaces are common when using the copy/paste function in Windows. Contact your Broker to verify the correct user id and password are being used.

Unable to Contact Ninja License Servers...Please Enter Your Backdoor Code: NinjaTrader needs to validate the Ninja License Key (Help->License Key from the NinjaTrader Control Center) in order to know what features and providers should be enabled. If the application cannot reach the license servers, it will generate this error. Firewalls are the normal cause of this error. Either permission NinjaTrader to get through the firewall or disable the firewall, close the application and relaunch it.

Login Failed: Unable to login (10001): The login process is unable to get to the Zen-Fire servers. Disable or configure firewalls and security software as needed until a connection can be made. This is an error that requries the application to be restarted. Failure to restart the application will immediatlely generate the same error but with (10004) as the reason.

Login Failed: Unable to login (20051): The application is unable to begin the login process because the local computer time is more than 24 hours off from the actual time/date. Check the computer time and date and correct if necessary. A rare cause could be running a version of NinjaTrader that is out of date and has expired SSL certificates.
